My approach ranges from practical coaching to challenging habitual thought patterns to supporting in-depth personal exploration. It includes managing anxiety, depression, grief or other difficult feelings; employing techniques from cognitive, psychoanalytic and family therapy models; and utilizing EMDR for recovery from trauma.
I believe in working with each individual within an atmosphere of mutual respect and trust; and in helping individuals make the changes they authentically want to make. I have special training in EMDR and in various family/marital therapy models, which focus on couples strengths, communication and peaceful conflict-resolution.
